I am not yet a graduating student but I'll just like to reminisce the past 2 years in SP Media and communication, DMC.

Lets start all the way back when I was a sec 4 student. I knew I wanted to study media, but just not sure which school to choose from the 5 polytechnics. Why SP? I don't know. I went for course counselling for like 3 times but never once stepped into the DMS aka Studio 19. Haha! Somehow somewhere deep in my mind, I just knew I wanted SP DMC.

And I can proudly say that I NEVER EVER regretted putting DMC as my first choice. No lah. I am not in love with my course, just... well.. let's just call me a fan. An adore fan. Yes, I do complain and nag and grumble about school, saying how school tough school life can be.. BUT come'on, who doesn't grumble with what they are experiencing now?! We are never satisfied with what we have.

Talk about the modules. Business, Communication AND technology. All in one. Not possible? Nah. Some of us may like the business side, some come to DMC for the communication side while some just enjoy the technology side. Me? I wanna do production, thats why I am also in the specialist diploma. :D Its important to know what you want. Well, I don't really like the business modules cuz I don't excel in them. Not that I excel for the rest of them. Haha.
I always didn't understand WHY on earth does DMC have the biz side of it. But if you take some time and think about it carefully, what I have learnt is definitely of use to me in my future. Marketing, its fun! (Cuz of Mr GT too!) Economics,(yeah. ok lah) Consumer behaviour.. As we learnt "MEDIA IS A BUSINESS BY ITSELF"
Then theres the all-time-fav communication and technology! Oh. Of course, advertising and PR too! Haha.

I just love films and photography! And as lecturers always say: After joining the DMC big family, you tend to watch films at a different angle. How true. You look out for flaws such as the boom mics, you look at the different camera angles and the editing part. From pre to production to post production. And DVPA was definitely one of the funNEST and bestEST module. Seeing your different shots being made into a film, its like a mother giving birth to a child! Touching and grateful. I love that feeling man.

Ok. DMC life. Hahahahahaha! Thats all I can say. When people ask me "WAh... Media, must be very fun lah!" My answer is yes. ITs fun. Maybe not really the studying part, its the school life. I mean, your friends, your crazy lecturers, your laptop! Haha.
Yeah man. School life may suck, but what makes you wake up every morning and squeeze into the sardine-like MRT smelling all the smelly armpits (I am short mind you.), climbing that "MT EVEREST!" are the people around you. Behind all the pile of work load and stress, its the fun and joy that makes you carry on. I go to school like Ms sleepy, bt come home as Ms fruitful. :D

DMC IS LIKE ONE BIG FAMILY.
We talk together
We laugh together
we gossip together
we shout together
we BOND together.

Now that I am in year 2, I want to make the remaining time as a dmc-ian as fruitful and memorable as possible.

Hahaha. I actually dug out some photos of us. HAHAHA. See how much we changed and grew. For the better or for the worst. You judge. :D (Don't kill me. I know. ITs unglam! )

Don't laugh. Its 04's first photo can!
