Life interning is great so far.
Workloads are coming in but still can cope. :D Great thing is that I got to learn After Effects! And I'm actually really loving it. I got to relive my childhood hobby of drawing. Simple projects but I feel 'SMART'. LOL.
Got to squeeze time today to watch FAME after work.
If you have not watch, please don't. I personally didn't like it. The plot esp. The no.1 prob is that there are too many characters to focus on! And each depicting a somewhat similar problem: Climbing to Fame, dealing with the perception of a career in Performing Arts. Like 7 different lives all cramped into an hour plus? It didn't hit and hour and I'm already checking my watch, fidgeting around. Ying thought it was not bad. I thought it was BAD.
Well, not-too-bad songs and some relatively nice shots. No doubt, I do enjoy watching the finale where they singed and danced. But it wasn't good enough to cover up for my 6 bucks tix.
I would like to watch it another time (online) and 'Changed' it to my own. It's good to learn WHY some drama-climb-to-fame stories don't work while some just hit blockbusters.
I've learnt something. To treasure life. To live and lead your own life. :D

Woo! It's been 3 days interning at MCS. :D
It's kinda fun and working with your peers is a plus. Cracking our brains for ideas and calling people up these 3 days are manageable. But for the few months to come.. I believe the 10 of us CAN DO IT! Well, No pain no gain mah. *excited*
We spammed the post-its and pasted it all over the office. Ideas, pending info, confirmed ones, contacts, EVERYTHING!
And its great when I have a straight bus there! Wuahahaha.(Y)
Oh! I'm blasting my new speakers in my room now. OMG! So shiok! MY entire room is trembling. The bass is awesome! Woo! Makes me wanna dance and sing along. Woo!

Your phone lousy lah! Have fun! :D
Ok. Next. Since Samantha, Ying and I have no life this holiday, we decided to just go out and roam SG. Sat the SG flyer. I felt it was just a one-time experience and it's enough. Not bad if it's $10, but if you're gonna pay like 30 bucks for it? Nah. Please don't. You'll regret it. I'm lazy to upload the photos as usual. Haha.
Let me think. Went out with crazy people as usual. Laughed and just be plain crazy with them. LOL.
Yay! As promised, here are some of the long awaited photos from the past events.
Ms Kwa's BBQ:

This was random and done v fast. It takes SKILLS to do this. ;P

Spec dip screening was a success! I loved all the films. Each depicted a different side of life. A different angle. A different emotion. Though our film almost gave us a heart attack. Haha! Kudos to Ying and Leon.

The last batch of Spec dip class.

But a pity Syawal and Yoga couldn't be there.

Introducing... "X"
Went to watch Final Destination 4 in 3D. My first FD movie, but not the first 3D movie. As its my first FD movie, I think it's not bad. The right amount of GORE and thrill. Though at some points I couldn't take it. Haha! Lucky Lee Yan recommended me to watch it.
I feel what is so special about all FD movies is that it is being so successfully done in a way where there isn't a need to have a villain, a clown or a murderer. And definitely not someone who has split personality. Tastefully using everyday items and events to make the unexpected happen.
With the 3D effects, it really does makes a difference. The previous 3D movie (Ice age 3) was a waste of money. 2D was enough for that animation. Gore shows needs the 3D element! Blood oozing out, pieces of human meat flying across your eyes, explosion debris increasing in size. Love it. :D
Watched The Proposal right before FD. Quite a fruitful day I must say.
Then Cycling at ECP!

Then a farewell dinner.
